Tourism Questions
Do I have to be Jewish to join one of your trips?
Not at all! I love sharing these stories and places with anyone who has an interest. While my expertise is Jewish history, I try to incorporate broader cultural histories and narratives in my tours.
What is a typical group size?
I have a maximum group size limit of 12 people to ensure access to unique locations and a high guide to client ratio to provide the highest quality service.
What about kashrut and Shabbat?
All services are shomer Shabbat. Some tours occur over Shabbat, where a fully shomer Shabbat environment is kept.
In remote regions, Kashrut can be a bit more complicated. If required, fully kosher options can be provided. However, all food services are provided with general kashrut concerns in mind: all meals outside of strict kosher environments are vegetarian or fish. All cheese products are rennet free. Care has been taken to develop local relationships to explain vegetarianism (as opposed to explaining all of the details of kashrut).

Are your tours suitable for families?
Yes! Tours can be created to meet the needs of families with small children: more relaxed schedules, easier adventures, and shorter guided explanations can all be accommodated without sacrificing the sense of adventure and connection.
